What is warranty?

With our 35 years of experience in the jewellery industry we do our best to make all the jewellery with great care. Furthermore they are covered by the Belgian warranty legislation. This means that a product must do what you as a consumer reasonably expect it to do. 

Depending on the material, there are different expectations.

  • Silver and stainless steel (metal colour) are colourfast. Jewellery in this material must therefore not change colour, if properly maintained. If there is any discolouration, it is covered by the warranty..
  • Gold plated jewellery has a core of a nickel-free metal alloy. The exterior, which touches the skin and can be seen by the naked eye, is a very thin but durable layer that gives the jewellery its golden appearance. However, when the care instructions are not followed correctly, the colour will fade faster.
  • The same is true of 316L stainless steel with IP coating. IP coating is similar to gold plating, but it is basically a different technique. IP coated stainless steel can have a black, golden or pink golden appearance. When the jewellery is well maintained, click here for maintenance tips, the colour will stay beautiful for a long time. However, when the care instructions are not followed correctly, the colour will fade faster.

The warranty period for jewellery is 2 years. If the defect of the good is determined more than six months after the delivery, then the consumer must prove that the good was not conform at the time of delivery.

You can fill out the return form. Please add clear pictures, so we can assess whether the defects of the jewellery are covered by the warranty.
